Wireless Products

Every country has introduced corresponding regulations and standards as market permission criteria by assessing the safety and performance of wireless products. The Europe is the representative of countries/economic bodies to use technical control scheme for market product quality. 1999/5/EC R&TTE (Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment Directive) and 2014/53/EU RED (Radio Equipment Directive) are European mandatory directives for these products including short-range wireless equipment and broadband data transmission systems.

The coordinative criteria under the R&TTE and RED directives relate to four aspects: Health & safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and spectrum performance. According to the conformity assessment procedure of this directive, certain wireless products shall be conducted by a third-party notified body for its product conformity assessment. A CE marking with a Notified Body ID shall also be given to adhere to the product before product sell on European market. And the responsible person of the business takes charge of their responsibility of declaration of conformity.
